As the women’s basketball regular season is nearing its end, Stanford Lady Cardinal decided to celebrate their senior players. Both their forward Cameron Brink and guard Hannah Jump were honored by Cardinal after their game against Arizona State Sun Devils on Sunday. Stanford uploaded a reel of the ceremony on their official Instagram handle.
Brink’s mother Michelle Bain-Brink was present during the felicitation and shared the reel on her Instagram story with a special message for her daughter and her friend. This reminded the fans of Michelle’s bond with the NBA star Stephen Curry.
What did Michelle say?
Michelle while posting the reel on her story tagged her daughter Cameron Brink and Stephen Curry’s mother Sonya Curry. She expressed, “I’m not crying your crying,” taking cognizance of the fact that her daughter Cameron might choose to draft in the WNBA and this might be her final year with Cardinal where she has made a lot of memories.
Meanwhile, Michelle had also tagged Sonya Curry in the post who she had met when the latter was referred to as Sonya Adams during their time at the Virginia Tech. The duo formed an inseparable lifelong bond and this was evident when Michelle tagged Sonya.

It was a testament to their close bond and Stephen Curry’s mother’s interest in the latest developments in the life of the NCAA star Cameron Brink. It was a double dub for Brink who had performed well in the game.
How did the seniors perform?
Brink and Jump both gave their best shot in the game against Sun Devils. While Brink potted 14 points with 9 rebounds, Jump basketed 11 points with 1 rebound. Other than that, brink also contributed by providing 7 assists whereas Jump supported with 4 assists. Overall, Cardinal beat Devils by a margin of 81-67.
It sure was an emotional moment for Brink and her family. Hopefully, she will have a memorable season this year and also get the most compatible team with her style of play if she chooses to be drafted in the WNBA 2024.
Brink has been one of the core players for Cardinal this season. She has smashed an astounding 17.8 points per game with 11.4 rebounds per match. She averages a double-double and is next to only their forward Kiki Iriafen in the points average list. Along with that Brink also has an exemplary 54.7% field goal percentage with 30.8% three-pointer percentage and a 92% free throw percentage.
