Angel Reese has never been one to mince words, and she’s not about to start now. Reese’s and LSU women’s basketball had an SEC conference matchup with Rickea Jackson and Tennessee on Sunday, and it was as intense as you think it was.
Fans who were watching think they caught Reese talking trash.
As expected, Reese, who is averaging 19 points and 13 rebounds per game, had another solid outing against Tennessee. Her performance, competitive nature and being from the DMV (if you know, you know) meant she would likely be talking trash all game long.
Yet, a sequence after the game ended made lip-readers think Reese was still fired up. They think she blurted out, “Get your money up,” to someone nearby.
It’s unclear who she is talking to or what this is referencing, but it seems that news of Angel’s trash-talking ways got back to her because she tried to lighten the mood with some honesty.
